Fluorescent Soho Open House Arts Festival

Fluorescent is a new kind of arts festival based on a real collaboration between Soho businesses and the art world . Open on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July 2015.

We’ve selected the work of some of the most exciting emerging artists in the UK and brought their work into our Soho workplaces, creating vibrant new exhibitions in our offices and meeting rooms, studios and lobbies, café’s and bars. 

“Our aim is to present the diversity of creativity emerging from a new generation of artists offering fresh perspectives on a wide range of subjects.  It is this vast expression of imagination using myriad materials and processes that we have tried to capture in our selection, from the beautiful and sublime to the provocative and playful”.

They have installed the work of 28 artists across 8 venues, and have also worked in a collaborative spirit with established artistic institutions – from The Photographers Gallery, to The French House – to create a working community of like-minded venues, who will be bringing even more artists to Fluorescent and opening their doors to the public.  You will find a real open house arts festival atmosphere including the ‘Profile of Soho’ family workshop stall at the Soho Fete on Sunday.
